What an incredible week! Over six unforgettable days, our Camp Terrence youth traveled from Walterboro, South Carolina through Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi, exploring history, experiencing college life, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
CAMP TERRENCE MOTIVATIONAL YOUTH PROGRAM
​MISSON
Terrence Neal Hamilton whose life was cut short due to gun violence had a tremendous impact in his community. During his time with us, he demonstrated a depth of life that serves as a role model for young people. Therefore, the intent of Camp Terrence is to encompass these attributes in young people.

Camp Terrence was created to honor his legacy and prepare the next generation of youth.

PURPOSE
The purpose of the program is to help youth achieve in all aspects of life. Helping youth to problem-solve through service to community. The campers participate in a series of activities centering around:

Learning about African American Culture

HBCU Visits

Kwanzaa Celebration

Health & Welness

Technoogy & Innovation
WHAT WE DO
The goal is to make sure each camper sucessfully graduates from high shool. The campers start in middle school (7th grade) and are in Camp Terrence until they graduate from high school.

Each camper will get a scholarship from Camp Terrence upon graduating.
